Most foodbank have reported an increase in numbers of people being fed due to delays in benefit payments. The latest figures are that in Jan 2010, 37,046 waited 17 days or more for their JSA and 20,068 waited 22 days or more.  These figs are from DWP in reponse to PQ 316962 asked by Andrew Selous MP the Shadow Minister.
